This spring, American Corner Szeged celebrates its first anniversary with a great program series.
Since its opening (21st March, 2018), American Corner Szeged has had 8000 visitors and 140 programs about American culture. Main goals of American Corner Szeged are to present American culture and teach English language to everyone who is interested.
Since the beginnings, American Corner Szeged has been visited by a number of American guests such as the Hungarian Ambassador of the United States, David B. Cornstein or representatives of Toledo, Ohio.
On the 21st of March, 2019, American Corner Szeged is waiting for its visitors with a great presentation about the work and oeuvre of Anne Leibovitz, American photographer. During the spring months, at American Corner Szeged, visitors can also meet a sculptor from New York, an Afro-American civil rights activist and an American photographer.
