A cooperative project for testing new materials is launched by the two universities…
Three new laboratories are to be established according to the common project of the University of Debrecen and of Oradea, so experts can examine, test and develop new materials.
The two universities won 1 million 195 thousand Euro fund from the EU for the realization of the common research project between January and June.
In the newly equipped laboratories it will be possible to study the parameters of ceramic systems and metal alloys. These alloys are used in different fields of industry such as metal bearings.
The scientific project is realized by the integration of 3 laboratories; two of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Debrecen for macro and micro level studies, and one of the University of Oradea for nanoscale research.
